Walter "Wally" Springstube

Walter A. "Wally" Springstube, age 90, passed away peacefully Wednesday morning, July 6, 2022 at Kindred Hearts of Manitowoc.

Wally was born in Manitowoc on March 6, 1932 to August and Linda (Luckow) Springstube and was a graduate of Mishicot High School. On January 14, 1953, he married Betty J. Mott in Manitowoc. She preceded him in death on July 30, 2007. Wally worked for many years with Vinton Construction Company. He also owned & operated his own sawmill for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his children: Mary Hansen, Wesley Springstube, Randy Springstube, Joy (Paul) Tuma, Patrick (Connie) Springstube, Ricky Springstube (fiancee, Nikki), and Tina Ploeckelmann; twenty-four grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren; one brother, Eugene Springstube; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Linda Springstube; his wife, Betty; one son, Gary Springstube; one grandson, Timothy Hansen; son-in-law, Ron Hansen; and siblings: Phyllis Springstube; Kenneth, August, and Wilbur Springstube.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no funeral service held. Entombment will take place at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Manitowoc.

The Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home of Mishicot is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
