Ronald H. Meissner

Ronald H. Meissner, age 84, longtime resident of Mishicot, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, February 7, 2025.

Ron was born in Two Rivers on April 2nd, 1940 to Wilmer and Joyce (Schwantes) Meissner. He was a 1958 graduate of Mishicot High School. On June 7, 1958 he married Joan M. Voelker in Mishicot. Joan preceded him in death July 29, 2020. Ron was retired from the Cenex Country Visions Co-op where he worked for over 40 years, many of them as their fuel deliveryman. He was an active member of the Mishicot Lions for over 30 years, serving in several officer positions and receiving many commendations. Ron was also a longtime member of Grace Congregational United Church of Christ in Two Rivers. In his spare time he enjoyed car rides, golfing, walking, biking, watching Westerns & Hallmark movies.

Survivors include his six children: Pam Simac, Jane Bauknecht (Greg Gates), Greg Meissner, Tom (Nicole) Meissner, Nic Meissner (Kim Marotz), Mary (Mat) Sosnosky; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers & sisters-in-law: Richard (Ann) Meissner, David (Dianne) Meissner; one sister, Sharon Stern; and a sister-in-law, Betty Voelker. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilmer and Joyce Meissner; his wife, Joan; one grandson, Michael Rahmlow; son-in-law, Tom Simac; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ted and Julitta Voelker; and two brothers-in-law: Bob Voelker and Tom Stern.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 15, 2025 at Grace Congregational United Church of Christ, 2801 Garfield Street, Two Rivers. Rev. Colie Bettivia will preside at the memorial service, with burial in the Mishicot Public Cemetery at a later date.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Grace Congregational Church, Saturday morning from 9:00 until 10:30 a.m. There will be no Friday evening visitation.
