Joyce M. Vanden Bergh

Joyce M. Vanden Bergh, age 89, a resident of the Village of Bellevue, entered eternal rest Wednesday morning, March 23, 2022 at her residence.

Joyce was born in Green Bay on May 1, 1932, daughter of Harold and Hazel Kornowske Brice and has been a lifelong area resident. On October 6, 1954, she married Peter J. Vanden Bergh and he preceded her in death October 14, 2021. Joyce was a member of St. Willebrord Catholic Church.

She is survived by her children: Paula Smith, Lynn Sturmer (Jim Goldschmidt), Michelle (Steve) Collins, Michael Peter Vanden Bergh, Mitch (Jeanne) Vanden Bergh, Greg (Lori) Vanden Bergh, Glen Vanden Bergh (Rochae Smits), Carla (Randy) Nemetz; twelve grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She is further survived by nine sisters-in-law: Marion Calewarts, Sister Pat Vanden Bergh, Norma (Stan) Gezella, Elaine Srnka, JoAnne Weber, Bonnie (Jack) Baldschun, Doris Brice, Carol Brice, and Carol VanLanen; one brother-in-law, Mark (Patty) Vanden Bergh; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Pete; three brothers; one sister; and by several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 26, 2022 at the Proko-Wall Funeral Home, 1630 E. Mason Street, Green Bay. Relatives and friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with inurnment in the Allouez Chapel Mausoleum.
