Jeanette Mary Fabian - age 90, entered into eternal life on Thursday,
December 19, 2024.
Jeanette was born May 20, 1934 in the town of Carlton, Kewaunee County to
the Louis and Caroline (Valenta) Staral. Jeanette had been a
lifelong area resident of the Tisch Mills area, and graduated from
Kewaunee High School with the class of 1951. She married Don T. Fabian on
October 12, 1957.
She worked at the office of Schmidtman Paper for seven and a half years.
Jeanette was a member of St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch
Mills, where she taught CCD class and was a member of the Holy Rosary
Society. She also loved gardening and volunteering especially at the
church and at the Tisch Mills Fire Department with her husband Don.
Jeanette is survived by her children: Lou Ann (Gerry) Skelton, Marlene
Lambert, Connie (Bill) Roethle, Janice (Greg) Smurawa, Alan (Rose) Fabian,
Paul (Penny) Fabian; her grandchildren: Christine and Chad Skelton
(Kassi); Bradley Roethle (Erin); Samantha Smurawa, Danny Smurawa, Rachel
Gajewski (Gregg), and Andy Smurawa; Eric, Claire, and Amber Fabian; Alanna
and Max Fabian; and her great-grandchildren: Baron, Harrison, and Estella Skelton.
She is further survived by her sisters: Laverne (Merlin) Melnarik and Mary (Ken)
Schuh; also sister-in-law, Joyce Sincoular. She was preceded in death by
her husband, Donald Fabian; her sister Carol; brothers-in-law: Joseph Fabian
and Ron Mitchell; her son-in-law, John Lambert; and her brother-in-law, Don
Sincoular.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 26,
2024 at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church in Tisch Mills. Rev. Dennis
Drury will preside at the service, assisted by Pastoral Minister Christal Wavrunek
and Deacon Dave Scheuer. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tisch
Mills.
The family will greet relatives and friends at the church Thursday morning
after 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 11:00 a.m. There will be no Wednesday
evening visitation.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established for St. Isidore the
Farmer Catholic Church.
