Frank A. Hassemer

February 14, 1959 — July 11, 2022

Frank A. Hassemer, age 63 of Mishicot, peacefully entered eternal life on Monday, July 11, 2022, surrounded by family and friends.

Frank was born in Manitowoc on February 14, 1959 to Harold and LaVerne (Peroutka) Hassemer and has been a lifelong area resident. He graduated from Mishicot High School with the class of 1978, then furthered his education at LTC (Small Engine Program) and later attended the Operators Engineering School in Coloma, Wis. Over the years, Frank held various heavy equipment operator jobs with Sampe Utility Contractors, Arby Construction, and with the City of Manitowoc-Department of Public Works. He later worked for Red Arrow Products of Manitowoc and retired from CP Feeds, as a professional truck driver. On May 20, 2011, he married Rhonda A. Jeanquart in Manitowoc. Together, the couple enjoyed vacationing; grilling out, and spending time with family. Frank was also a motorcycle enthusiast and avid rider. He enjoyed carpentry work as a hobby, and enjoyed many years of hunting.

Survivors include his wife, Rhonda; his children, Brady Hassemer (special friend, Amanda), Kayla Englebert (special friends, Josh & Dallas), Aubry Hassemer (special friend, Cody); five grandchildren: Carter, Dominic, Savannah, Brody, and Aurora; four brothers: Dave Hassemer, Mark (Mary) Hassemer, Paul (Virginia) Hassemer, John (Peggy) Hassemer; one sister, Mary Hassemer; his father-in-law, Ron Jeanquart; other brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law: Trisha (Kevin) Wilke, Lori Jeanquart, Willie (Renee) McAllister; and his furry friend, "Smokey"; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and LaVerne Hassemer; one brother, Dennis; mother-in-law, Linda Jeanquart; aunt, LaVerne Tuma; and two uncles: Ralph and Milton Hassemer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 15, 2022 at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mishicot. Rev. Joel Stuebs will preside at the service.

Friends may call at St. Peter's Lutheran Church Thursday evening from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. The visitation will continue at the church Friday morning after 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
