Delores A. Gettelman

Delores A. Gettelman, age 72, of 400 E. Reed Ave. Manitowoc, died early Tuesday morning, September 7, 2021 at St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee.

Delores was born July 29, 1949 in Manitowoc County to Egan and Ella (Lambrecht) Tuschel. She was a graduate of Mishicot High School. On May 21, 1994, she married Mark L. Gettelman at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Gibson. Mark preceded her in death January 13, 1998. Delores worked as a custodian at the Mishicot High School, and later as a cook for many years at North Ridge Medical & Rehabilitation Center in Manitowoc, until her retirement. She enjoyed her arts & crafts, camping, fishing, and looked forward to the annual family corn roast held each year. Delores was currently of member of Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manitowoc.

She is survived by one sister, Daa Lorraine Tuschel of Manitowoc; four nephews and one niece: Brian Tuschel, Scott (Kerri) Tuschel, Joe (Kathy) Tuschel, Paul Tuschel (Christine Skarvan), and Debra Cisler. She was preceded in death by a brother & sister-in-law, Donald (Shirley) Tuschel; and two nephews: Billy Tuschel and Chris Tuschel.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, 344 S. State Street, Mishicot. Rev. Stephen Melso will officiate at the service, with burial to follow in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Gibson.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the Lambert-Eckert Funeral Home, Tuesday morning from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. There will be no Monday evening visitation.
