David L. Zahorik

David L. Zahorik, age 58, former Mishicot resident, passed away unexpectedly on May 17, 2024 in Milwaukee.

David was born in Manitowoc on July 16, 1965 to William and Sylvia (Genrich) Zahorik.  He was a 1983 graduate of Mishicot High School, then served his country for 4 years as a member of the U.S. Army where he worked with the military medics. Upon his honorable discharge, he pursued his journeyman's plumbers license and worked for many years as a plumber with Jindra Plumbing & Heating. David enjoyed hanging out with family and friends, and especially enjoyed watching and attending NASCAR races.

He is survived by is parents, Bill and Sylvia Zahorik; one brother, Doug (Lisa) Zahorik; two sisters: Wendy (Cal) Shaw and Annette (Victor) Hansen; four nieces & nephews, and numerous aunts & uncles.

Private family services, military graveside honors and burial have been held in Mishicot.

David will be remembered as a kind and gentle soul. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
