Dale J. Kopetsky

Dale J. Kopetsky, 77, Mishicot, passed away on January 17, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on January 5, 1948, in Two Rivers to the late Leo and Clara (Ozga) Kopetsky. He married Kathy Shedivy in Tisch Mills on October 13, 1973.

Dale attended Lakeview School in Two Creeks followed by graduating from Kewaunee in 1966.

Dale owned and operated the Kopetsky Dairy Farm since 1976 where he shared his passion of farming with his wife and two children. In his retirement he enjoyed spending time watching the brewers and packers visiting with neighborhood friends and he especially enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Kopetsky; his children, Matthew Kopetsky – Mishicot, Barbara (Kyle) Peters – Sheboygan; grandchildren, Aaliyah and Liam Peters, Aiden Hagenow & Karla Kopetsky; sister, Mary Ann (Glen Zimmer – Two Rivers; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Margie Kopetsky, Linda (Kevin) Scully, John (Kathy) Shedivy, Terrie Abbet, Mary (Lance) Power; as well as by nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by, 4 unborn children; his parents, Leo and Clara (Ozga) Kopetsky; brother, Raymond Kopetsky; father- and mother-in-law, John and Violet (Blaha) Shedivy; brother-in-law Don Abbet, godson and nephew James Abbet.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, from 9:00 to 10:45 am at St. Isidore the Farmer, 18424 Tisch Mills Rd, Denmark, WI 54208, with a Funeral Service at 11:00 am with Fr.
