Clara M. Krcma, age 94, passed away February 2, 2025 at Allouez Parkside Village in Green Bay.
Clara was born in Green Bay on June 23, 1930 to the late Sylvester and Dora (Beth) Brosig.
On February 14, 1953 Clara was united in marriage to Paul Krcma at St Phillips Catholic Church in Green Bay. They were blessed with 51 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on December 9, 2004.
Clara worked on their dairy farm for many years along side Paul. She was a very hard working, kind and giving woman. Her and Paul loved going on gambling trips, playing Sheepshead and other card games. In her free time she enjoyed watching and feeding the birds. She loved flowers, and had several flower gardens, as well as a huge vegetable garden, which she proudly canned and froze all of the produce. Clara also had a love for animals, especially their German Shepherd Ben. Later in life she found her love for cats, and took in and spoiled many strays. Clara was an avid bowler, earning many awards and enjoying the sport into her early 80's.
Clara is survived by one daughter, Janet Smits (special friend, Todd Kibilowski); grandchildren: Jeremy (Annette) Smits and Ashley (Erich) Rusch; great grandchildren: Austin Smits and Robert Rusch. She is further survived by sisters-in-law, Kathy (Frank) Zeman and Lorraine Kochan, as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Sylvester and Dora Brosig; her husband, Paul; one son, Martin Krcma; great granddaughter, MacKenzie Smits; brothers, Sylvester (Rosemary) Brosig, Delano (Mickey) Brosig; sisters and brother-in-laws, Ernestine Morreau, Armella (Molly) and Ray Roznowski, Dorothy and Phil Karchinski, Verda and Joe Baenen, Lorraine and Bennie Gerlikowski, Herbert Brosig; and an infant sister, Rita Brosig.
She is further preceded in death by, Charles and Kay Krcma, Francis and Etta Krcma, Milton and Adeline Zander, Virgil and Leona Zipper, Emil and Lorraine Krcma, Daniel and Norma Krcma, Gilbert and Carol Krcma, Eugene and Rita Krcma, William and Marjorie Luckow, Donald Kochan, and Joseph and Lorraine Krcma.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. at St. Isidore the Farmer Catholic Church, 18424 Tisch Mills Rd, Denmark, WI 54208 on Friday, February 7, 2025. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Dennis Drury, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
The family will greet relatives and friends from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. There will be no Thursday evening visitation.
